  • Visit to Altamont NY

Last weekend I went to my hometown of Altamont NY for my nephews wedding. The wedding was a wedding, but I did track down my high school friend Paul Kolanchick after 40 years and had a great time exploring some of their trucks. Paul's Dad was a submariner in WW II and an avid Power Wagon/military collector. Sadly his health is poor now and he's in a nursing home. Anyway, Paul has lots of stuff but is not on the internet.

So that's where all the 1/2 tons went. I see the doors I need. Thanks for sharing, looks like a fun place to explore.

I am over there (an hour NE from Altamont) every week to deliver my chickens to a processor in Greenwich. If there is the potential for him selling parts, I'd be interested in his information too.

contact info for PW parts in Altamont

Paul is sort of a quiet guy who is not on the internet and won't answer his phone unless he knows who you are. If you send me a name and phone number I'd be happy to pass it to him. My email is 3d.wayne@gmail.com
