  • WC52 8 3/4 Front Diff pinion flange nut

New guy here. Does anyone know what the torque should be for the front diff pinion flange nut? Just replaced the drive pinion oil seal. I did mark the nut position before I removed it. Is that close enough? I cant find anything about it in the service manuals. Thanks for the help.

My M37 manual says tighten to 300 ft lbs. My torque wrench only reads to 100ft lbs, so I just run it on with my 1/2" impact wrench until it is good and tight, but not killer-tight. I've never had a problem with the nut coming loose in 30 years.
