  • 9x20s vs 8.25x20s on a 1969 W500

Got a 1969 W500 that needs new tires. Would like to increase the diameter from stock size. Will the stock rims with 8.25x20 safely fit 9x20s? What about 10x20s?

Looking to get Power Kings all around. Thanks

I've not changed mine yet, but when I was looking the data said the 900x20's would be OK, but the 1000x20's would have side wall rubbing issues.

Check your dual center to center measurement and then look at the tire manufactures recommendations for the denotative answer.
    I drive a DODGE, not a ram!

    Thanks,
    Will

I am running 10x20 Kelly-Springfields on my 75 W600. They fit fine, the dually's don't touch, have about an inch or more between the sidewalls on them.
Overall diameter/height is right about 39"

My wheels are stock & same as the W500's.

I have pictures in a thread on this site.
