The explanation for how I did this would take too long & I'm not sure I want to admit to it anyway but I didn't "punch mark the drive flange & hub" prior to removing the flange. The shop manual indicates that this should be done so that it can be reassembled in the same orientation to prevent "peeling" the drive flange mounting studs. I'm secretly hoping someone removed the flange at some time in the past and left some punch markings that are still visible but I'm not optimistic. I don't really know what "peeling" is but is there anything I can do at this point to prevent it?
