  • Engine number

I'm trying to see what engine is in my 50 PW, but there are no numbers on the ID pad. Would this mean it's a factory replacement?

I have a 48 B-1 and the numbers are missing from the factory plate. However, on the right (passenger) side of the motor there is rebuilders plate attached. This contains info for the rebuild. Also, there should be casting numbers on the block. Those should provide some help. Good luck.

It looks like someone used a grinder on the # pad?
