I put a 47 PW fuel tank in my 61 PW. It has the 6V sending unit still in it. My 61 PW is 12V and so is the fuel guage. Is there a way to make this combination work. I was told I might be able to reduce the voltage going to the sender by a variable resistor. The problem is I have a 12V guage. Any body have any experience in the area to advise me on what I need to do.
