Good Morning:

Being new to the PW world, and slowly learning the different types and styles of Power Wagons, I am hoping one of our knowledgeable members can answer a couple of questions on swivel frame trucks.

My first questions is, what years were swivel frame trucks made.

Lastly, on swivel trucks the cab/truck was made by Dodge, but I heard (?), that the frames were made in western Canada by an aftermarket company. If that is true, do the swivel frame trucks have non matching serial numbers between the frame and cab?

If someone out there can help, it would be much appreciated.

Not a real expert on them myself but the frames weren't made, they were modified. The stock frame was cut between the cab and bed and the swivel assembly installed in it. Then of course there would have had to be some modifications to plumbing, wiring, etc to make it all work.
