  • My 65 dodge D100 1/2 ton bed looks like it would fit on my?

Anyone tried a 65 Dodge, D100 1/2 ton, stepside pickup bed on a WM300? Looks like it can be done easy! Take off big rear fenders and pattern look same..(May have to cut 2" off bottom panel) for WM300 running boards! Rear axle may set further back. I'll take more measurements as well. thks gc

Does it agree with the wheelbase?

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Wheel base on 65 is 2.5" longer and 65's inside fender wells are centered at 53" from front of bed. While the 61 fender wells are centered at 50.5".. 65's fenders would need to be cutout and moved forward 2.5" or insert the 61's fender wells.. 65 bed is in excellent conduction. 61's bed going to be very labor sensitive!!! was hoping I was going to save money..Time will tell.. thks gc

Using Tail gate and front panel. (only)

I'll sale the bed off 65 to recoup money spent for 61 bed refurb or end up using front bed panel and tail gate only! off the 65 dodge stepside 1/2 ton. I will not be cutting fender wells to retro fit side panels..Thks gc

        May save a little!?...
