Tail pipe question for a 68 W200

Any body got a picture of the correct tail pipe for a 1968 W200 with a 383-V8, 128" WB? The parts book shows PN 1927 996. Is this a short tail piece off the muffler or does it extend back past the axle? Where would the hanger attach?
