So, today I was messing around with a set of axles I have. They came out of a WC parts truck I have been slowly taking apart. They have bolted covers and appear a touch smaller than the stock axles under my WC53.
When I checked the ratio today I was getting what felt like 4.5 turns of the pinion to 1 turn of the wheel. I actually only had one tire up so I was getting around 2.25 turns per revolution.
Was there a 4.30 or 4.56 ratio available for these axles? In all other ways they look just like my WC53 axles though except the thirds look smaller.
What do I have?
