Repair shop for mechanical issues in houston area

Folks, I'm new to the Power Wagon thing and want to purchase a 1949 pick-up. However, before I do I'm hoping anyone with local knowledge might be able to point me in the right direction on mechanical repairs (engine, wiring, running gear, suspension) in the greater Houston, Texas area.
