I'm installing a 318 into my M37 and using the stock tranny. After I got the tranny mounted I noticed the shifter arm was sloppy and not ingaging the forks. I pulled the top cover and I found that the end of the shifting arm had pulled from it's proper location. I also found that the two outside fork shafts do not slide back and forth like the center one does. They will rotate only. Before I force anything are they suppose to move like the center one?
