Howdy all, It has been a long time since I have graced these pages and wanted to bring everyone up to date on my wicked build. To start My truck is a '42 WC 1/2 ton I pulled the 218 out and trans. and went from there. It now sports a 383 with automatic trans. (The fabrication is what I enjoy the most on a build like this). I swapped the open cab for a '47 enclosed one. I have added side pipes as stacks and a flat bed inplace of the existing bed. I shortened the running boards to allow more room for the up and coming 44" tires I will be adding later. I have installed powersteering to it and used the original steering column. I'm currently in the process of fabricating a lower windshield frame out of a spare upper frame that I have.(Challenges is what I love).
