Transmission I.D.

I am restoring a WC51 that was manufactured in 2/45. I know the engine has been replaced and the I.D. plate is mostly unreadable. My question is the transmission which I am trying to get repaired. The number on the lower case is C38126 and was casted on 10-16-44. The tower number is C38128. Is this a 1/2 ton tranny or a 3/4 ton? In any case what would be the model number of the tranny?

I already installed a NOS main shaft and a NOS main pinion shaft. It shifts into reverse fine but does not want to come out of reverse.
