New to the forum, but not to Vintage Iron!
I have a '53 PW civilian that my dad bought back in '67. It's been stored inside since he built his polebarn in '72, and has less than 60K original miles on it. It's in great shape, but needs some TLC and a little work to be back to original. It got a dumpbox on it somewhere along the line before my dad picked it up, but we have a box for it, though it needs some serious work and fenders. My dad paid $600 for it back then!
The cab support on the front driver side needs some work, and there's some old lead body filler on the cab, but she's still as solid as the day it was made!
I also am into Jeeps, having done a complete frame off 'resto mod' on my '80 CJ7, and right now, my dad and I are working on a '46 CJ2A. I wish it was in as good of shape as the PW!
Be a while before I tackle the restoration of it, but I'm looking forward to reading/researching here!
