1940 Dodge Doors on 1957 Power Wagon

Starting with the "V" series in 1940, Dodge trucks were produced with no significant changes through 1947. The first Power Wagons - 1946 - generally used the '40 - '68 cab parts, including the doors. The cab floor in the Power Wagon was modified to sit lower over the transmission. As a result, the Power Wagon cab itself had a different depth "skirt" under the doors. There may have been improvements to the door latches but my references do not list any.

As long as your 1957 Power Wagon is a W300, the older Dodge doors can be expected to fit.

The 2 wheel drive doors have a metal channel/trim piece that holds the cardboard type door panel. It runs along the top and latch sides of the door and is welded in place.

The Power Wagon uses a steel door panel that is screwed in on all 4 sides. If you remove that trim piece you could use the Power Wagon door panels on the 2wd door or else you could leave it and use the cardboard type panel.
