53 flat fender

I have got this truck about done, but it would be real nice if the brake and clutch pedal didnt stick out so far toward the seat. It makes driving a bit of a challenge and getting my big feet to the gas pedal can be a chore. What have you all done about this? Am I the only one that wants those darn pedals a little shorter so I dont bend my legs so much to get to em? Also, what do you guys all suggest for firewall sound deadening as well as boots for all the levers, pedals, etc as they go through the sheet metal. Thanks..

Its a 53 1 ton flat fender with a 4Bt cummins. A little loud, but drives like a bulldozer and lots of fun.

Placed on the firewall interior, clutch/brake is out of my scope of expertise. Sounds like maybe a cut/weld, if the adjustment is all the way in/out?

Maybe Frank Irons will sneak in and answer this one?
