cd's don't get dirty and you can alway make screen prints.

It is more convenient. You just print off the pages you need and if they get all dirty or damaged you throw them out and print new ones. I will warn that the PDF conversions aren't perfect, there are some issues with the conversion but nothing I've found that would prevent them from being used.
