    But I have always loved the older power wagons. I intend to purchase one this year just as soon as I learn more about them. I found this link http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1946-1....htm/printable that was very helpful to me. Just trying to learn the changes through the years etc. If you guys have any more information links or sites I could visit I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

      You will learn allot from the guys on this site.
      Don't be in a hurry when buying your first Power Wagon, there is some deals out there but also a few you want to leave alone.

          Thanks Jake and olgraybeard. I am kinda chompin at the bit here so I suppose i'll slow down some. I did see this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT but I think I prefer the truck to be as close to stock as possible.

            Welcome. You are in the BEST place for info. Nobody will steer you wrong here. Be a little patient with your first buy. Make sure it is what you want and are willing to deal with. There is a huge difference between tinkering to get it running and a running truck to tinker with. Always remember to be safe when working on vehicles. Good luck.
