  • Frame/Running Gear Color, Other Than Black

    Hello,

Does anyone have any pictures of FFPW with other than black frames/running gear?

Would you be so kind as to share with the Forum?

    Thanks

There is one out there that has the under carraige done in a bright red. I do not know who it belongs to.

In the early 1970s there was a roofing company in Milwaukee, WI by the name of FJA Christiansen that had "signature" or "trade-mark" truck painting that included dark green body and red frames/running gear. I recall one FFPW.

Your choice - red or yellow.

This image was taken at the VPW Rally in Fairfield, Iowa in 2004.

                    The one I remembered

                    ....and finally found.

This truck belongs to Glenn Reid. It is a marvelous image even if you don't care about the red.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

That looks great,I like how the frame rails were contrasted to the drivetrain
