Engine bracket

Does anyone know what this bracket was used for? I've been searching for engines photos and have not run across one with the bracket yet.

Looks like a horn bracket.

Thanks Kevin. That makes sense. I guess I didn't realize it was a horn bracket because the horn was always in the way in the pictures I looked at. I was thinking a bracket for a cable or something.
