  • M37 Rims vs. WM300 Rims

Does anyone know if there is a difference between M37 rims and WM300 rims? The reason I ask is I'm looking to get some new tires already mounted on M37 rims and part of the deal is I trade my original rims with old tires.

I believe there is no difference.

Wait.... on a truck that came with 4.89 ring and pinion sets, the wheels would be different, with narrower rings, as that truck was fitted with 7.50 x 16 tires.

The wide ring wheels on each are the same.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Where you located? A local guy in Hesperia, CA. offered me the same deal. He wanted the old wheels, for scrap I guess. I would hate to see the wheels scrapped for six cents a pound, probably about four dollars each. Or, maybe, your wheels and tires still have some life in them?

Don't forget, the original wheels are dated. This may or may not be important to you. But, it may be important to the next guy. Anyway, there's enough difference in the looks of the wheels that come off the military surplus trailers to be noticeable.
