Ok, did all 61 to 68 FFPW's have the grille protruding out like in the pic of the 1967 PW? I've read they did this to compensate for the extra length of the 251 engine? Is this correct? Definitely makes it uglier IMHO.

To accommodate the 251 (it's longer than the 230) all PW's built with the 251 had this protruded grill.I drive a DODGE, not a ram!

Did the shock mounting change over the years? The 67 is lower on the frame and further forward from the look of that picture.Comment

A '68 I once had was like the '67 in the picture. If I had to guess, and this is a guess, I would pick 1956 for the change. Just a guess.
