  • Dust Boot for Shift Tower- 1961 WM300

Does anybody have an idea on a dust boot for the transmission shift tower? Now that I've soaked-out the transmission and it is squeaky clean and put-in new gaskets and Royal Purple 40 weight, I'd like to keep that lubricant clean from above. I can't seem to find anything that would work short of having maybe a canvas place stitch me one up. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.....Keith.

The one I got from VPW for a WM300 didn't fit very well. If it's the same as the one I got, you'd be better off trying somewhere else.

Thanks to DavidGB and gmharris for your kind responses. Vintage Power Wagons is out of stock and the fit issue noted by Mr. Harris is appreciated. I have in the meanwhile discovered Dodgecentralmi@gmail.com in Zeeland, Michigan. They apparently specialize in Dodge pick-up parts in the 1940's range. They have a couple of replacement boots available and I am currently emailing measurements to them to see if the boots they have might fit. Will let everybody know if I find a suitable boot. Also, they have a couple of sizes of armrests and I am checking also to see if one or the other might be used in the WM300. Will also let you know if that works as well....Keith.
