  • mopar truck master color?

hey so im restoring the model 75 mopar truck master heater in my 56 FFPW and was wondering if anyone had a paint code or anyhting for the redish brown maroon burgundy color of the heater, i know the center part is silver that was fairly obvious. i want to get as close to the original color as possible. heck even a wally world special spray can would do me if i could get the right shade. any help appreciated

I used dark bronze Rustoleum 'Hammered' for the outside and the silver for the center.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

I was told the Duplicolor Dark Canyon Red was a match. Anyway, that is what I used. However, I'm not going for a 100pt restoration, just want it to look good lol. I also was not going for a gloss look. I finished with a flat clear coat. Not the best pics but you'll get the idea...

By the way, B1B, nice job!

          Thanks! I should've mentioned it's for a civilian truck.

Here's a link to a thread on the Pilot House forum.

            Hope this helps.
