    Does the TM specify that torque setting dry or with lubricant? That level is closer to the factory settings recommended for hub piloted mountings with a slight about of oil. I agree it'd take a real man to free up nuts with the old bars. That's why i think the best tools for use in the field, especially on a PW that's SRW, are the "pork chop" and a BFH. Stu

      Interestingly, the TM does not specify a lubricant, therefore I would assume they meant a dry torque setting of 200-225 ft. lbs. I also checked my 1960 Dodge Factory Service Manual. There the factory lists a torque setting for: Wheel and Nut for Front Disk Wheel (3/4" x 16 NF) . . . 500 Maximum.
      So, I wonder . . . ?
