  • 46-68 cab interchange

How many years and models of cabs will interchange with the 46-68 power wagons?
I have a 46 or 47 Dodge pickup and the cab looks like it may be the same as the flat fender power wagons?

any idea if they are the same or if there are only minor changes?

    thanks, Kenny

The '47 and '47 2WD cabs will have a taller sill below the doors, a firewall that has a large indent in the center, and a different floor arangement. There are older 2WD cabs and military cabs also. They will all have similar differences in one form or another. The Power-Wagon cab is kind of unique, but I have seen 2WD cabs adapted with some work.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

I meant to quote him and say "the '46 and '47".

        Good catch.
