Nuts and bolts

Is there a source for the washers that are used in places like the fender, then floorboards etc? They are not round but sort of square with round corners and tines facing the bolt. Are they important...if they don't exist, any replacement ideas.

I think you are looking for, "Square Periphery Washers". Snakeriver4X4.com sells them. But, I believe McMaster Carr and several other places also sell them. The ones called external, internal lock washers may be the ones you need.

The washers show up on Ebay every once in awhile. Unless you are looking for originality, the appropriate hardware store washer will do.
