Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

I think it should be taken to the rally and used for the tech demo sessions. How to resurrect a truck that's been sitting for years. Gordon could supervise and narrate the operation as it's brought back to life. Just thinking out loud here. With your permission of course Gordon.

I think that is one of the best ideas I have heard in a long time. How could it not be a win-win situation for all involved?

I would certainly agree with that statement.

                      Handbasket

Despite Gordon's protestations, I also think this is an excellent idea!

I'll second that agreeance, then it is officially agreed that Mr. Maney, God willing, will bring his long dead power wagon to life, with the understanding that he shall receive moral support and help if necessary.

                          All in Favor?

So, it's unanimous. Don't you just love it when a democracy works?

Okay, so I'll kick of the proceedings by volunteering to keep and maintain a to-do list. So far we have agreed to, and tentatively scheduled, the following:

                            1) Gordon's truck will be resurrected at the upcoming VPW Rally.

                            2) Gordon has been appointed to the position of supervisor and narrator of the operation - should he accept.

Obviously there is a long list of things to do in order to prepare. One of which is to compile a reasonable complete list. I guess if we are to start near the beginning, who would be willing to volunteer to haul his truck to Fairfield? Next, anyone have any ideas on what else needs to be added to the list?

                              The list

Clint - What about some sort of a fundraiser/raffle to help with expenses? I don't think I can be at the Rally this year to help out in person, but would like to pitch in with some of the cost for parts.

I'd be able to haul it to Fairfield, and work on it at the Rally. We plan on being there all week long. Dylan will love to work on it , as well! Doug
