  • My first Power Wagon — planting the seed

The truck that started it all.

I still have it; I purchased it in 1973 for $200.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

      Nice

Nice truck Gordon. Would have cost about $1100 in today's dollars :-)
      Great price!

I know your truck well. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time sitting on her tailgate.

I judge it was time well spent.

Is that a recent pic Gordon, or of when you purchased it? NICE!

Not recent; taken when I got it back and put it into storage.

So that is a "before" picture. Should we be expecting an "after" picture soon?

                  first Power Wagon

I remember hearing the stories about that truck.

This afternoon I watched the videos from the first power wagon rallys and saw your W300 in action--actually could hear the big 440.

                  Good memories.

In the 80's I sold it to buy a better truck. Some years later I got the chance to buy it back.

Very cool, I didn't know the second half of the story.
