There is a thing called a pull back spring extension that connects to the brake pedal and to the return spring at the brake pedal mounting bracket. It seems that this extension is made of a hard steel as it broke as I unknowingly tried to bend it slightly. Is it possible to find this part or has anyone had this issue before ? Possible fixes ? thanks Paul.

That's the first place I asked, they don't carry them their suggestion was to make something up.
