Is the hellitool p/s setup compatible with the 2nd gen starter on a 4bta? It looks like the box would interfere with the starter.

It is if you make it! Ha!
Paul Meirop (SP?) has used the Dodge/4BT setup and the Helitool setup, but you do have to offset the engine to make room for the starter. However he also uses a married transfer case and centered rear axles so it doesn't affect his drivetrain alignment as much as if you were trying to do it with the stock transfer case.
Otherwise no, even without the starter on that side of the truck I had to grind a slight clearance into the side of the Cummins block adapter on my truck to clear one of the power steering hoses.
Packaging is a bear with these swaps, there's seemingly just not quite enough room everywhere! The setups that alleviate the packaging are usually expensive and rare.
