inside door/window handles

It seems like it should be simple, but I can't figure it out!. how do you remove the window cranks and door handles??

Should be a spring loaded escuction behind the handle. Push it in and there will be a pin on the backside of the handle. the escuction traps it so just push it out. Be careful and be ready to catch it as they are easy to lose. Don't do it in the grass!

A scratch awl or very small pin punch works well.
