  • lever type lockout rebuild.

I have a 57 FFPW and have the old school lever type lockouts.
Passenger side will not lockout, cant rotate levers all the way around.
Is there a kit to rebuild these? I would like to keep these as apposed to replacing them with the updated type. perhaps direction to a reference for R&R?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Most manual locking hubs are very simple inside, and seldom break under normal use. Unless your truck saw exceptionally hard use or abuse, they are likely just dirty inside or gummed up with old grease. Disassemble, clean with your preferred solvent, and reassemble with a high quality synthetic wheel bearing grease, and you should be good to go.

I seem to recall that the Chilton's Manual for the 1967 Dodge Trucks shows how to service the Dualmatic lever style hubs. If I can find mine, will let you know.
