I'm in the midst of a spring tune up and can find the timing mark(s) on the crank pulley. Mine has 2 pulleys on it, I have been looking on the pulley closest to the block on the outside edge. I have cleaned it with scotch brite and found a little "lump" on the outside edge but no V notch or numbers. I thought that maybe there'd be numbers on the timing plate on the block, but after I took off the alternator to be able to see/clean it, it only has two "buttons" on it about 1/4" in from either side with nothing else. What do those nubs indicate and should there be degree numbers on the crank pulley?
Thanks.
Thanks.
