  • Anybody had Superlug 9.00-16 and split ring wheels past 60mph?

I don't think too many people would have experience with this, but for someone with a modified Power Wagon with overdrive and/or a different engine, I wonder how the Superlug 9.00-16 tires do at speeds of 65, 70, 75mph?

Im equally curious about split ring wheels at those speeds, since the trucks were never intended for these speeds.

I know, I know....tubeless rims and radials all the way for a modified truck like that.....but I'm just wondering how difficult the Superlugs are at those speeds, and if anyone has done it!

We have turned out many trucks with 75 + MPH capabilities. Super Lugs are not a problem, but as you know they are not radials so don't expect radial performance. The original rims are no issue at all, we install radials on them for all our rebuilt trucks, they perform great. Just be sure the rims and rings are in good shape.
