Definitely a body swap from something else from the looks of it. The gray/yellow/black works better than I would have thought. Wonder how you get the snowmobile down/up, that looks really steep. Cool assuming you live somewhere that gets snow, LOL!

It is a nice looking truck... And the AC probably works better than my 230 air. (2 windows@30 mph...) but does putting some of the FFPW sheet metal on a modern 4x4 chassis turn the truck into a Power Wagon??

Well no, sheet metal doth not a Power Wagon make.

But consider that imitation is the highest form of flattery. Check out this link and tell me if "Too Old" doesn't embody the spirit and intent of the original.

Trend? If you refer to flat beds, they seem to abound out of necessity. What else do you do when there is no box or the one you have has "gone 'round the bend"?

The trend is well established. There are lots of options when you toss out the book and go with "purpose built". I try to stay true to the original intent, while hopefully embracing new advances in technology as an original owner might do. These trucks were built to adapt to a given task, and often multiple tasks ...why not run with it?

If you were referring to "Too Old", that truck was well underway before I even got Woodrow, my 1st Power Wagon. It has inspired several upgrades on GUS as well.

If I may reference two extremes in a spectrum, Clint Dixon and Carl Buckingham can't have all the fun! There is lots of room in the Power Wagon sandbox.

Beyond that, " I know nuthink"!

I myself find so many great ideas and inspiration from so many other trucks.
Some of them are quite extreme, others are very subtle.

I have seen a hand stitched headliner that made me smile as if looking at great art. I have drove others that had horsepower to make a race car jealous.

The Power Wagon World is both small and large at the same time.

I love that we all can inspire and share, knowledge of both trucks and life with each other.

Designs and dreams. Trucks and Tribulations.

I have four inspirational vehicles for my own WDX project and in due time I hope my vision comes to reality.
