  • Vacuum wipers

My 47 WDX still has its working vacuum wipers in good order to a degree, the drivers side when activated goes very very slowly and the passenger side goes faster than any wiper I have ever seen including modern blades, is there a way to adjust the action of these type wipers ?

There is no adjustment to the wipers them selves as far as speed, check your rubber hoses for vacuum leaks between the two. I use Sea Foam deep creep as a lubricant for the wiper motors, it seems to help a lot. Squirt a little in the metal tube into the motor where the vacuum hooks up on the slow one and see if it helps out.

Thanks Matt, clearly these don't get much use on my truck or any truck but I will give this a try.

Definitely try to put lubricant on the motors. Works all the time here.
