  • The full frame & body restoration of my 1948 Power Wagon

    Good day ladies and gents,

Back in Nov 2019, I acquired 2 FFPW, or I should say 1.5..since the second one was incomplete, and kind of a wreck. I won't say how much I paid because my heart is still crying, but I couldn't pass the deal at the time. The irony in all of this is that my wife paid for it, and it arrived on our wedding anniversary day - life does things right sometimes.

I'll use this post to document my restoration process.

From there, we proceeded to to unload the truck and inspect for damage. The transport company broke all of the yellow cab window to pass straps around, and bent the green PWs rear driveshaft. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

Good Grief I am sorry to see this kind of transport damage, Thats crazy what in the world were those guys thinking? I would certainly hold the transport company completely responsible for the replacement costs which are going to be substantial!! I have heard some crazy transport stories but yours certainly ranks right up that list!
