    It's Ok

Jake is just a shy guy.
I remember when you finished your Sweptline, adding things that DPDC forgot & you knew we all needed/wanted!

Bruce and Norm you are both too kind, I am a better photographer than I am a body man by a long shot. "Shaking my head"
To get back on subject, I am inspired by the knowledge and talent represented on this forum!
I am honored to see my first restoration attempt on your fine web site Norm, I usually spend time in your picture gallery at least once a month.

I've been looking through my Eastwood catalog at the various products they have but I'm open to recomendations. I've gotten some quotes for blasting and priming the frame and sheetmetal but have been wondering what to do about the insides of the frame rails.

        Thanks.
The encapsulator we use is an Eastwood product, likely the same thing you are looking at.

TIP: spray it on, don't brush it, it's a booger to smooth up if dealing with brush marks.

Your former Sweptline looked so good that I re-posted it again as a Truck of The Week, at Dodge Sweptline .org

That is one gorgeous truck and it looks kind of familiar. Was it featured in Vintage Truck magazine a year or 2 ago?

            Hey Tony,
How did the PTO drive unit work out for you?
Yes this truck was featured in Vintage Truck a few years ago, again its all about taking pictures from the right angle, the workmanship on the truck itself was amateur at best.
We built the truck to use , this picture shows it out in the bush for its maiden votage.

Hi Jake, The PTO's all cleaned up and has fresh seals but I can't install it until the PW comes out of storage in May. How about yours? Have you tried it out yet.

Amateur or not that truck is something to be proud of!

I haven't actually mounted it yet, I've been focusing on the sheet metal for now. I know it is the right one and will be tackling all things mechanical as soon as I have the sheet metal knoked into shape.
Let me know how yours works out for you when you get a chance to try it.
