Sending Unit Float.

Hi guys,

So I finally took out the tank to figure out why the gas gage does not work, and have found that the float has a hole in it. No big deal, I figured it would be the problem.

I looked on the " Bay " for a replacement and sure enough I can get a new replacement one for $5.00 with $4.00 shipping, but now I am wondering If they make a replacement float that is plastic or foam or something that wont need replacing in the future ?

Any advice from the Crew ?

Can the orginal style be had for less than $9.00 any where ?

Also, The pickup screen is junk, Is there a replacement sorce for these, or can just go without it and not have to many problems ?
