gear ratio question

I know this isnt really a dodge question but im sure someone can answer me.

Im trying to find the gear ratio of a 14 bolt ff. I counted 42 gear teeth and 11 pinion teeth

42/11=3.818

14 bolts dont come with a 3.81 gear ratio. Is it a 3.73 ring and pinion or am i missing something here?
