  • Lookin for power window motor

I am looking to buy a power window motor for the passenger's side window on my 83 D150.
Are wndow motors interchangeable? I am guessing that the only ddiference would be whether it is a driver's side or passenger's side motor and that cars ad trucks used the same motor's but am not sure
with summer comg I would like to be able to have all the window's down

An old school salvage yard operator might be able to answer your question. Truck window motors might be the same up to 93. Power windows became more common in later models. On cars your best bet would be a Chrysler 5th avenue, but then again not sure if it's the same motor.

Before you yank the electric motor make sure it's not the switch & make sure to test for voltage at the motor (while pressing the switch). Each motor is equiped with a separate circuit breaker in addition to the fuse or circuit breaker protecting the whole circuit. This prevents one stuck window from disabling the whole system.

1981 TO 93 TRUCK van or full size car should do

NOTE / if you use one from a car you need the opposite motor

l looked this up on the NAPA web site
