where can I find a complete ignition package for my 72-78 trucks. Im looking for a kit that has everything needed to replace the ignition system on my trucks in the event of an EMP electro magnetic pulse. yeah Im crazy but so is the world we live in. I would like to find a complete kit, but willing to purchase components individually. what components would I need and what brands are more robust. any difference between 318's and 360's. ultimately I would like a set for each truck. including 1 slant six.

I cant believe my eyes

I was just over at the Mopar Performance site. in fine print at the bottom is a disclaimer "parts carry no warranty whatsoever".????? how can that be? was I at a bogus website?

Yep, most electrical parts carry zero warranty. Summit racing has a kit that includes most of the stuff you need. They list it as a conversion but it is a pretty complete set. If EMP is your concern then just get the ignition box as that is probably the only thing that would get zapped. You could wrap it in a good copper foil, that should protect it. Most good electronic stores, not radio hack, have it. We had an older ambulance that when you keyed up the 2-way radio it would over power the box and stall the engine. Wrapped it in copper foil and problem solved. That was RF power but same effect.

How about a "fareaday cage".A.K.A. A fully enclosed box covered with a metal mesh(brass,copper, etc.) around the electronics?
