Hey guys, getting cold here so i guess i better get big red back on the roads. I recently blew my alt belts off due to the bearing in the AC Clutch going out. I decided ,in Wisconsin , i wont need the AC and have stripped the thing off. I am looking to see where the ALT needs to be now, and if there is anything special i need to know when i get the new belts. Does anyone have a picture of theirs without the AC pump? When it had the Ac the ALT was in the upright position closest to the AC on the left. It looks as if i can drop it to the lowest position, and have room for the belts. Would the be correct?
