From time to time I see questions posted on the boards that could be addressed by owing a service manual for the truck in question. The one I got is from a company called faxon http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/home_one.cfm They offer both CD's and paper manuals for many vehicles. It's the first thing I bought for my truck. Mine was about $20 and covered 77-78 D/W 100 - 800. For the most part the service manual has got me through quite a bit. When I get stumped I know I can post here and get a quick and accurate response. This should be the first investment for any vehicle you plan on working on.
