  • 75 -440,stock carbs

    So I'm looking into a 75,3\4 ton club cab,440,all stock,88k miles
Other than my propane powered trucks, all my other Dodge trucks have had carb issues. And I'm in Alberta Canada, so it gets friggin cold up here-so keep that in mind..
My question is ..For this truck is there a- bolt on -one time fix all problems-never worry-,carb set up you would suggest ? cost?
It's 4 bbl now, but 2 bbl would be o.k too as I don't haul anything extreme.
    thanx

You're stuck with 4 barrel. Other than an industrial 413, no 2 barrel RB manifolds were made.

I am a huge fan of the TQ carbs. I picked up one that was on a 74 360 HP engine for $20 at a swap meet. Set up correctly it works like a champ. I have a 750 Holly DP that I refuse to use so long as I have a TQ on hand.

The carb I have is a 6000 series (6462). If you are looking for more info on the TQ's this site will help you out.
