Bud's wipers are slow, really slow with the fast setting almost enough for normal rain. I took the cowl cover off and found the arm bushings pretty worn and I plan to replace them if I can get the parts. It does not appear at first glance that the wiper transmission is servicable. Anyone know? The motor/trans case is well grounded and the termianls feeding are now clean. High resistance on the switch? Worn motor?
Now about that cowl area. I pulled a small farm out of there, moss, trees, and other bio-parasites. What is the structure of that area? Does it have drain holes? Any other items that might require a look at? I'm going to have to clean, treat, and finish that area somehow and I'm looking for ideas. It's going to be a drag to get to but I can't let it continue to rot.
I noticed some seams that are just inboard of the bottom curve of the windshield that have a gaping thing going on. Possible leak area?
