I'm getting a new steering gear and I assume that standard rotation means that the output shaft[steering arm]turns the same direction as the steering wheel and vice versa for reverse rotation?I wanna be sure I get the right one for my 75 p.w. 100.Any info always appreciated.

If your steering gear is mounted with the pitman arm shaft parralel to the ground then your gear is reverse rotation, if it points to the ground, slightly less than perpendicular to the ground then it's standard rotation.I'm not sure when dodge changed that, but I know my grandpa's '74 w-200 was reverse rot. and my dad's '77 w-200 was standard. Good luck! Doug
