  • Starting rebuild-many questions coming

It has been a long time since I posted anything or even managed to come here to read your posts but life has slowed down enough to start my life long dream of rebuilding my old truck. So, without further ado, I have my first question for the guru's here. Does anyone know a place that sells new cab metal for 4x4"s? My donor truck is a 2X4 and the transmission hump is substantially different enough to need to transplant the center section of the floor. I would rather use new metal if available, the old cab is pretty rotten. Any ideas fellas?

Thanks for the reply Dodgeboys! I was thinking about doing a 3" suspension lift to clear some taller tires but maybe a body lift will be the way to go. No driveshaft angle issues anyways. Will the stock steering shaft work without mods? I suppose I could still cut a piece out of the floor and lay it back in with bolts to allow access to the transfer case linkages. Something to ponder.
